Hi, this year I'm finishing my level 3 electrical course at college which I started from level 1, I want to work as a electrical improver but I'm told its better to look for an apprenticeship. My end goal is to become a fully qualified Electrician. What do people do recommend I do?

All I would add is don't get disheartened if you have a few negative replies to your enquiries from prospective employers...

As statistics suggest that the electrical industry has a lot of workers who will be retiring within the next five years!
(I guess quite a few of us on the forumbulator fall into this category?)

Plus with all the green, eco, net-zero, energy requirements, there should be a lot of opportunities for potential new electricians to get into all sorts of areas.... Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Domestic, Distribution, Solar, Wind, Storage.. etc.. etc..

So keep on with your qualifications and enquiries with potential employment opportunities..
And knock on all the doors you can find, for any and all companies local to where you live!
