Apprenticeships

Hello, can anyone suggest any companies or suggestions of where to look for a apprenticeship in the Leicester area?? I'm 22 an aware it's not going to be easy to find someone to take me on!

I take it you are aware of JTL? http://www.jtltraining.com/

and your now looking for employement? If so, send a load of letters out to all the companies in your area with your CV in and a brief explaination of who you are and what your looking for. Pop into a few and maybe ask at the wholesalers (they'll know whos stacked out with work) Its quite hard to get a job at the moment so stick at it.

Just noticed your in leicester, I used to work for Electrical Installations North West they a part of 5 or 6 other companies based in leicester, their website is http://www.electrumgroup.co.uk/ the address is on there. They usually/used to take on 2 apprentices a year in each sector.

Thanks thats good advice! Have already sent out letters but hadn't though of the wholesalers. Have looked at JTL and apprenticeships through the local college. Have also looked at train 4 trade but would prefer not to go with these.
