Paul, if they actually ever did land on the moon some 40+ years ago, how come they no longer have the technology to do it again?

it was simply to try and out do the russians during the cold war, propaganda and all that,

even the Russians admitted they didnt have the technology to do it,

now for the good bit, how about the billions[millions?] the usa spent on trying to figure out how the Russians got pens to work in space, before they realised the Russians were, in fact, using pencils! :slap

I don't believe a lot the Americans claim but I reckon if they hadn't gone to the moon the USSR would have made a big noise about them lying... Amusing as the pencil thing is wasn't this debunked on QI a couple of years ago? Something to do with the dangers presented by bits of graphite floating into control panels?

RIP Neil and he is the first man who step on the moon and i think it's only misconceptions about him.
