Just sat through a film called "Arrival"   .    The usual scenario , alien craft arrive and sit there in locations across the world with the military lining up to blow them to bits while the heroine attempts to communicate  with them  . 

Lots of scenes with flashbacks to heroine's past , bringing up her daughter & turning stones over on a beach ....and then the final 15 minutes ...aliens ****** off ,  heroine hugs various people  ....roll credits  !!!!

WTGrape !!!   Was that all about ????        Do you know , Brian  ?   :C

I managed to suffer 5 mins of that film before I had to turn it off.... Pile of poo IMHO

I sat through an hour of it , thought there'd be some sort of revelation at the end ...........I was wrong .

I watched a film called Dirt the other evening, a film about Motley Crew, quite good in my opinion.

I watched a film called Free Solo on channel 4 catch up last night, now that was a great use of 1 hour 40 mins great docu film.

That has been on before I think? I caught parts of it, but I am sure I had seen some before. So just how big do your balls need to be to do that??  It could be argued that it makes the occasional bit of "Live Working" appear quite tame and risk-free activity!

Whist flicking channels to see what else was on, I saw a few bits of a documentary type program about the making of Saturday-Night-Fever. It reminded me of some of the hurdles that Monty Pythons Holy-Grail Film had to jump though.  (i.e.  Low Budget,  No major distribution rights agreed.)  Yet seemed to exceed ALL expectations!

Was that the guy rock climbing without safety ropes ?     Now that was scary  . !

He certainaly was Deke, after a bit of research  found out by doing a scan a brain that the fear generating part of his brain was suppressed, which it would have to be to do what he was doing.  Well worth a watch.

I quite like the Abondoned Engineering series - ch 5 I think. It certainly covers some odd an interesting locations.

That would explain it then ,   no one in their right mind would want to do that ,  certainly not me.
