Bathroom Ceiling Extractor Fan.

Hello all, any advice would be gratefully received.

When sourcing the power for the fan am I right in saying I could source power from the lighting or ring circuit, them put in a FCU, then run that to a Pull Cord switch?

Should also be RCD protected and a 3A fuse (normally)

Yes, assuming you only need the fan to switch on and off via the pull switch which is fine but a lot of fans have an timed over-run in which case a little more wiring is required. A fused spur will need a 3A fuse in it too

 If you don't want it to work with the light then yes , feed it from a socket via a 3A fused spur .

All bathroom accessories need to be via an RCD  and the fan may need an over-run to give it time to clear all the condensation .
