Bathroom mirror wiring

Hi, I have a new bathroom mirror which needs power, water tank/emersion have been removed with enough cable to run up to loft across ceiling and down to reach mirror, would that be ok to do. Cheers.

yes but it may need OCPD to be changed to a lower rating and it will need an RCD if it doesnt already have one

Potentially a suitable means of isolation for the unit also.

No. is it a bit like getting 6mm t&e through 20mm conduit?

Down rate breaker size in consumer unit, ensure rcd protected. Maybe fit a fuse spur with 3amp fuse and change to 1mm t&e to mirror... like Lurch says 2.5mm into a mirror is not easy...

depends on the mirror. some you would struggle with a 1mm flex.... others you have enough space to work with a bit of 10mm T&E, although the terminals are not large enough
