I am looking for a bt engineers phone (butt phone) just wondered if any one had one to sell before I get one from flee bay

why dont you just get an adaptor,?

or do you really need all the functions of a Butt phone?

I had a butt phone but I broke it so last time I was over visiting family I asked my sisters boyfriend (he works for BT) about a butt and he said he couldnt get me one at such short notice(I was flying home in 2 days) but he gave me a normal 1 piece phone with an adaptor and 2 croc clips on leads on it, reckons for most stuff its just as good, and TBH it does the job for me fine.

Butt phones are used to test phone lines. Apart from them being a normal phone they can do other things like reverse polarity & check high resistances.
