boiler & gas earthing

priced a job a while back. also no earth to gas (being installed at the time), so priced for that too.

then gets a call a few days later 'can you take the earth price off job - plumber has done it when he installed the boiler

gets job, and finds this

mains is at the other side of the house

he also wired the boiler in 1mm flex from a JB on the ring main

Amazing is that an earth rod to the left. Some people don't understand earthing at all.

a few years back I started work for one of those boiler installation companies,

and that was how they earthed gas and water in every property if it was awkward at at,

FFS, I simply couldnt believe it.!!!!!!!!

just tell they householder the gasman may as well do the CU change too see'ing as he is so good,
