Friday I leant on my left hand palm down & pushed myself up off the floor, heard & felt a small pop/click in my wrist....Ouch & thought nothing of it just carried on working.

Saturday got up & ...hmmm wrist feels a bit tender...goes to a job & chased out 1st & 2nd fixed sockets/cooker circuits for a kitchen refurb....bloody hell that is painfull never mind all done off home & it'll be ok.......struggle changing gear but get home & say nothing to mrs107, just pop a couple of asprin that do sod all if I'm honest.....never mind it'll get a rest on sunday will be ok.

Sunday morning wrist is very tender & looks a little swollen on with some deepfreeze spray & more pain killers, tried to drive & problem becomes apparent to mrs107 ..... apart from the stink of the spray I had to ask here to pull on the handbreak & i could hardly change gear....she kicked me out of the driving seat...but no I still wasnt going to the doc's or hospital it'll be ok.

Get woken up early this morning in severe pain & hand/wrist is badly swollen, that was it I was frog marched to the doc's for 08:00, the doc decided to prod my wrist & she was lucky she only got a building site verbal bashing ( I did say sorry) but bloody hell did it hurt....off to the hospital for X-ray...............not broken bones but suspected torn/strained tendon/s.

The doc said "if you'd been less of a man prat & more of a sensible person & accepted you'd injured yourself & applied a pressure bandage or gone to hospital on saturday, you wouldnt be off work today & tomorrow possibly longer"
