The Pratley's are expensive but there fitting time is quicker compared to alternatives.

Noz,

Just sell your client the solution that is the right one, if it is Pratleys sell them this one, it's not like it's coming out of your pocket!

Noz, have you ever used pratley boxes before?

If not, the comparison is like trying to get a mini to perform like a porsche,

It can be done, but its a different class of a product.

Use one, you will try and upsell every job to them in the future.

I haven't used Pratleys before,,, but I don't think that there's going to be enough money in the job to use them.... There are going to be 6 fittings in 3 different locations (prob each pair being 6' apart) so I'd have to use at least one per pair if not one per each fitting (dependant on the distance)...

BTW can you put flex and SWA into them??

SWA goes straight in, no gland kit needed either. For flex need to buy compression adapter for it for £1 or 2.

mmmm,

the last ones I used had compression glands already fitted,

to fit SWA you had to remove those first,

so it seems like its non answered.  :C

Noz, they have a standard 20mm female thread on them, or 25mm etc depending on the size of box you buy.
