During a large construction project in Canada, excavations at a depth of 10 feet revealed a multipair copper cable believed to be a hundred years old. The Canadians proudly announced that this discovery proved they had a communications network 100 years ago!
Not to be outdone, the Americans dug down and found a similar cable at a depth of 20 feet, therefore, they concluded, they must have had a communications network 200 years ago!
Meanwhile, over in Yorkshire, a self-taught archeologist has dug down 30 feet and found ****** all! He has therefore concluded that Britain went wireless at least 300 years ago!
