yes, you can only get insulated upto 6mm

I would go along with Batty on this one, Wagos are very good to use and so fast.

Im sure the specs for the usual red blue and yellow crimps show the wiring that they are designed for, and they show stranded AND solid wires on the literature.

When extending cables these crimps are great, but problems occur when say 2 wires are put into one side, as they are not designed for this and the wires can end up coming loose.
