Are cable prices rising again?

I've just had a quote on cable from Edmundsons and (with the 10% voucher) I can get cable from Screwfix at the ex-vat price Eds gave me. They said "cable's going up fast again".

I heard from a friend in wholesale there was going to be a 7% rise. I have heard nothing official though.
