cal date on nic assessment !

Hi all

Just a quick note while i was on assessment on 27th i said to assessor id heard that if you have a cal check box and get it cal'd every year you dont need a yearly cal done on your test gear is this true ? he said no and you dont need a yearly cal done on your checkbox as your cert it when you use it on cal'd testgear also now its every 3 years you need your test gear cal'd !

I take it thats coz your using a cal checkbox ? but if its every 3 yrs that saves dosh !

Any views on this ?

and how does this card check your test kit is still accurate for earth loop & RCD times?

there has been similar things mentioned in the past, in that you can check earth loop on known supply. i.e the same socket at all times, and same RCD etc

Not sure but my cb200 does also the rcd tests dont know why this should affect the annual calibration though
