Flexible cords, non armoured...max current?

try page 296, table 4F3A

1.5mm copper flex, 16A.

(& could support 5kg weight] :) )
cheers SL

Q.

tri-rated cables is the term tri because they can carry 3 x times the current?

they do carry more i know that, how much i don't and always thought a flex is tri-rated due to core design (high number of strands) so therefore should carry higher current than a 6491x for example

but 16a would suggest not ?

cheers SLQ.
