I understand that boiler controls are notifiable under part 'P', but was wondering whether or not a minor works is needed? :| ?:| ? :| ?:|

Apart from testing at FCU what would you put on a cert if needed ?:| ? :| ?:| especially as in the job I did today I was adding to an existing system for a wet underfloor heating set.

Any thoughts please

Ah this one did post, have posted same question twice cos I couldn't find this one until nowBlushing
Then I suggest that you lay of KME's Guiness. :^O

I would of thought if you was notifying it you would have to a have a MWC to accompany it. Just to keep the customer and your Part P provider happy, after all doesnt take long to fill in one, and you can charge for the privaledge of notifying it

i cant see how u can do a mwc for heating? there are more than 1 circuit ?

you can certify the feed to the boiler, but then you have your zone valves and then hot water stat and room stat, possibly extra zones ie: more roomstats and frost stats. its a pain in the ass.

if i do 1 i certify, i anoly certify the feed to the boiler and do a mwc .

whats peoples thought on this .. also i only certify special locations .. seems no one knows which heating systems actually need certifying as there are many different options.

if i was to notify centeral heating controls, i would consider the whole control system as one circuit, just record the highest figures for the system
