Can`t speak for the SITE cordless Dave; but I`ve got a mains drill from `em. Absolute carp. Yes, it`s a bottom-of-the-range Makita, but this thing is utter rubbish, AFAIAC. I would have another one as a ruddy gift!

I expect it'll be the same as my makita + 3x 1.3ah I bought from screwfix 3 years or so ago for

 
Hi Dave, I used to have the makita version of this drill, which lasted for about a year before the spindle bearings went (it got nicknamed squeaky). Before that I had the Erbaur, which quite frankly was an alround more robust drill, though prone to getting dust in the trigger when cutting downlighter holes. The other bonus of Erbaur is the 2 year warranty which screwfix never quibbled - good service
