Local chicken farmer lost all,his chicks....reckons he planted them too deep

I always trust my dog, many years ago I was eating something and offered some to the dog, it refused to eat any, no problem more for me. The following day I had the runs and vomiting, food poisoning. Now if in doubt I offer it the dog first, if she won't eat it neither will I .
