I served my time back in 1980 and completed the requisite city and guilds course for which I received a certificate. I have since lost it and am trying to get a replacement from City and Guilds. They are asking for the name of the course which I believe was something like Electrical Installation part A

Can anyone help on this. It was a two year course and had 3 parts one of which was a practical.

Really appreciate some input on this, cheers

City and Guilds have a very thorough database and have kept records as far back to when they started. I recently enquired to replace all my certificates and could not remember the exact course names I had taken. They offered me a search facility for a nominal fee and a replacement certificate service.

All you need to do is give them your name and date of birth and they will do the rest.

Burma , that soumds like the ones most installation contractors were doing back then .
