clipping to external walls

hello chaps,

just wondering what clips you use for outside and what is the best way of doing it.

i saw a bt man drilling holes and using plastic plug things but dont know where to get them, i am asuming that a normal yellow plug will be no good as the hole is to big.

use a wooden dowel

they are called pin plugs

get them from B+Q and they are grey

find them next to the clips 3-4mm drill is required

its a 5mm drill bit

Or get a small drill and use a match.

in brick yes

in mortar i use 4mm
