hello

personlly i would never fit one, go for a system boiler and cilinder. what type of house have you got, no. of bedrooms, etc

bob

If you can stretch to a Worcester Bosch you will not go wrong.

This firm are the dogs I've had several full heating packs off them over the last 7 years and you can't fault them. If your near a depot they will let you collect.

the perfect system would be unvent h/water and the thermal store, dual coil and solar or solid fuel as a secondary heat sourse. but if your askkinig and working to a buget min for me on a standard install would baxi platinum 5 year parts labour, 780 plus the vat trade or ebay but they may be reconditioned or from a pallet etc.worscester are ok but out of warranty are expensive to repair.

Iv got a Remeha. All the gas fitters iv talked to, if they have seen one, they say they are very good quality, and very easy to work on. MKM stock them.

seriously nooo. not a good boiler i am sure urs is fine but do not fit 1 unless all the other makes have totally sold out and its the last 1 on the shelf,

every one has personal choice, some lads fit valiant and nothing else some worscester bosch some baxi,

the Remeha is fairly new to the domestic market and the early ones had pcb faults, heat exchange probs and also problems with pressure loss.

they are getting better and after sales and sErvice is good.

people rave over the viessman range we find them expensive, fiddly and I don't like the way the flue goes together.the range of boilers is massive and some are better than others .

we fit what we like and don't like to go back on jobs the platinum and duo tec has has won best boiler on which website, service is next day if u call before 3, same day sat if u call before 10 am.

an example for alpha they said 4 weeks for a warranty call, viessman 3 weeks .. when working and trying to build a reputation we don't take chances.

just looked at your gallery. I liked the one with pipe right across the window!

i know someone who bought their boiler off ebay. Not sure if it was buy it now or auction. His plumber said he should try to cancel the purchase as he could get it cheaper. It turned out the plumber couldnt touch the price. The boiler was delivered on a plumb centre lorry!

i had a mate who used to sell on ebay he collected the 150 pound rebate on the boilers and sold at cost, they were selling 30 a week he was loaded.

his dad owned the company and he ordered them through the company but sold them privately .. :) clever lad .

whats this

if you are a big company you can apply for a rebate on the boilers you by straight from the manufacturer,

ie: baxi... usually 20+ boilers a week. it was 150 a boiler but now its 250 a boiler. :) on the platinums
