Conduit as Earth

Hi,

Scenario: You go to customers house and all wiring is singles in conduit sunk in concrete walls. You are asked to add a socket outlet. Do you have to carry on using conduit as earth for new spur that your adding (chasing out concrete wall for conduit to fit in and bushing the socket backbox) or can you use T&E running the earth from the last socket earth terminal to the next socket backbox.

Use T/E if you want, make sure you check Zs if conduit is earth.
