I enjoy the motorcycle racing immensely, but am sure its days are numbered. We live in a world of smoking bans, airbags and even hard hats for kids on the donkey at Blackpool beach.  How long are men to be allowed to ride flat out round a road circuit with all the obstacles to hit?  I reckon the demise will come about like the 'muscle cars' of North America in the late 60s , through insurance premiums.....  :coat

Very sad news yesterday to learn a rider died due to injuries sustained from a crash at the 'Metropole' during the NW200.

there was no such thing when I done my test,

in fact, the hard part was remembering where he told you to go, as he walked up and down side alleys watching you,  :|
