Cracked Laptop Screen

Well, for xmas santa gave me a broken laptop screen. Ok, it wasnt santa at all, it was my 16 month old boy, who to be fair has had it in for my laptop since he first laid eyes on it. hope hes finally got it out of his system :/

anyways, i do all my business and errrr....pleasure things on this lappy, and cant afford a new one so looking to get a new screen. A quick google on the wifes steam powered computer brought up dozens of possible places to order one, but im looking to see if there is anywhere that anyone can actually recommend, as im wary of being bitten again. had good service somewhere? lets hear it please

What make. & model / screen spec mate?

I got a screen for this lappy from a place in warrington,

£42 ish IIRC , was on ebay, although I did pick it up,

I'll have a look and see if I can remember who it was, a proper place that actually remodels screens to fit the laptops.

Its an Acer aspire 5750 laptop with a 15.6" screen.

Acer? Erm..........are you sure it's not the GPU given up if you've been using it for lots of "videos"?  :lol:
