CU Change

Evening all

I've upgraded a CU and when doing testing I've found switches and some sockets with both earth cables in one earth sleeving and the sleeving is just green (not y&g).

Is this something that should be noted at all and if yes, where? I'm not obliged to change them am I???

Just stick a note in the comments on existing installation.

e.g. "old colour earth sleeve present at some accessories."

If it was a PIR it would be a code 4..

"not comply with current regs but not unsafe"

would concur, and to be honest, one of my pet hates is people sleeving two (or more) earths with one sleeving!!!!!

Do you make a note on cert that red/black cables are still present? no different to green sleeving....

the 2 earths in one sleeving is annoying though when you need to seperate them for testing

SP8 is mine! anyone trying to get near it will feel the full force of it!

But i may let you use the spare SP8...

(and i already have plenty bruises from the weekend so you cant really top that....)
