Cutting close to a wall edge?

I’m on the lookout for suggestions.
I need to cut as close to the edge of floor as possible to replace some damaged flooring board, any suggestions what to use, I thought multi tool but too much to do and can’t guarantee straight nor depth.
Circular saw leaves too much away from wall.
? I thought there was a tool that cut close to an edge??

plunge saw will cut very close, less than 10mm depending on which one you get

My plumber mate has just bought a small,Ebauer saw from screwies 4" blade?
That may do it

Which do you recommend? Thing is I only want a cheap throwaway one as will probably never need it again.

mines a dewalt, but that and a track is probably a bit overkill for just a one of job

yes, i sometimes use mine without the guide but only usually for rough cuts. if you have a wall up against it, it should hold it straight enough

I have the schepach version. Brilliant bit of kit with the tracks. Came with 2x1200 and 2x600. Make sure you set it up correctly from first cut trimming the safety edge

the tracks have a rubber edge - this sticks out further than the track and upto the blade . when you first use it, it cuts the rubber to the blade, so you can line up the track to your marks on whatever your cutting

Foolishly thought you had read the MI

It needs doing carefully. If done correctly the cuts are totally 'breakout free'
Make sure the floor/surface is dust free before laying the track down. They are remarkably slip free. Really clever but simple idea
