damn small linux

can someone please explain to me how to copy this onto a disc?

I know I have to burn it as an image, but it keeps coming back with the error message similar to

file is the wrong size

I want to put it on a bootable CD to try and convert Aggie without actually changing the OS on the laptop in case she goes APE at me.!

I have it fine on my garage PC (as suggested) and it is brilliant, would never go back to windoze now, .

have even tried downloading from the various sites to the lappie and then burning but I must be messing up somewhere,

Personally would go with ubuntu. much easier to get up and running. It will also run from live cd as with dsl.

Fluxbuntu can be run from a live cd and is a small distro like DSL

Steps. Try this to make an .img from the file or disc.

Then use this to burn the .img onto another disc.

that 2nd link has done the trick, didnt need to use the 1st one as it is already in image form,

have tried to download FLUXBUNTU but for some reason it seems to stop after only about 25%, dunno, maybe Im getting something wrong somewhere,

anyhoo, am at my mates tomoz and hes a bit more puter minded so maybe he can get it downloaded for me.
