I've just been reading that the idiot herself is objecting to police using tactical contact to stop illegal moped riders who are robbing people. Despite moped involved crimes falling by 36% since the Met started using it, she stated that it is wrong and the police should not be above the law!

Now hold on a minute, nicking mopeds is wrong, stealing peoples phones is wrong, stabbing people is wrong, throwing acid at people is wrong, all these things are done by these mindless thugs on mopeds, yet she appears to be condoning this!

Lets put it this way, if YOU, decide to ride a moped without a helmet, and if YOU decide to go committing crime, then if YOU, get knocked off said moped then surely it is solely down to YOU, nobody else, and if you get hurt or killed, then tough.

The woman is an absolute idiot!

Phil let it go it’s just woman’s logic in motion.

Personally I’d adopt a non tolerance policy, just run the fools over— call it advanced road kill, but it would reduce the number of moped thefts pretty swiftly.

My thoughts exactly, I know a few coppers and I hear the tales of what these idiots get up to, I was watching a pursuit video recently, the moped rider ended up on a long straight rode, no way  was he losing the BMW traffic car that was persuing him. He threw off his helmet and as soon as the driver told the control room about this he was told to abort the pursuit, "we don't chase if they aren't wearing helmets" was the response from the supervisor.

It's a licence to do what you want, "if I don't wear a helmet they won't chase me", well how about a different approach, we'll chase you anyway, and we'll knock you off, and if you get hurt or killed then tough, you brought it on yourself!

Isn’t it illegal to ride without a helmet? So break the law and get away with it on a technicality of human rights? Knock them down prove it works then take the questions.

Only week before last I’m in London with work and sure enough two mopeds rocked up with three persons aboard, moments later after a quick reccy of the car park the two mopeds stop off gets the third person and grabs a parked moped then hasterly starts it and away the three go on separate  mopeds. I did go out but by the time I’d got anywhere near where they were they’d gone — across a public footpath I might add.

In that situation I think it would have been great if you could have tactically deployed a large piece of wood, note the phrase "tactically deployed", apparently it makes one hell of a difference in court. If lets say you are driving along the high street and a robber runs out of the bank, brandishing a shotgun, and you decide to stop him, then this is where the correct terminology makes all the difference, suppose you swerve your car and hit him causing him to fly over the bonnet and drop the gun, break a leg and be unable to escape, then when it gets to court, you end up looking like a real psycho, fair enough, you expect a bank robber to emerge from a bank brandishing a sawn off every once in a while, these things happen, but some nutter in a car to appear and run him over, well that's just plain wrong!

Same scenario, but worded like this, "I was proceeding along the High street when a man emerged from the bank carrying a sawn off shotgun, I tactically deployed my vehicle making contact with him with the front offside wing, this caused him to fly over the bonnet landing in the road and dropping the gun. Unfortunately as a result of this he suffered a broken leg" . Now that sounds much better, the jury look at you as a hero, risking his life to apprehend a vicious armed robber!

Diane Abbott is an embarrassment to the Labour party. Her only saving grace is that she means well in between talking ****e!
What has D A's mouth and a horses backside got in common? They are both outlets for a load of lettuced.lol
