Does anyone own a di log 9083p tester i need help with the ze/zs setting i am confused by the manual and have had not much luck with di log over the phone

firstly weather the leads need to be put in seperatly ie red black green or do the leads black and green need to be joined as per some other testers

secondly how do you determine what test you are carrying out with regards to a ze test or pscc or pfcc

i did ring di log but they was not very helpfull and have now spoken to other people and seems that i have confussed myself!

i have 2391 so do know what iam doing in regards to testing but just confussed with this tester.

I did have a 9083p until it blew up. If i remember correctly leads go in the correct slots not sure why you would need to join them.

The leads need to be inserted seperately, there is no need to piggy back them.

When you select the loop function it gives the option to do either Ze or Zs, under normal conditions when you select loop it will be set to do L-PE and will carry out PFC/Ze, if you want to carry out PSC/Zs then push the F1 function key. The first option carries out the test at low current and the second at high current.

There is other options with this tester which are a bit to involved to list here but if you want to phone me i will talk you through them.
