DIY garage electrics

A single run of 2.5mm t/e from a JB under one of the bedroom floors, through the external wall, along the side of the house across a gateway & into the garage......running all the sockets in the garage the shed & out the back for the pond, plus the shed & garage lights.

The two t/e are for the shed sockets & pond pumps.

Replace the T/E supply with a dedicated submain.

Replace sockets in the garage & shed.

Install new sockets for the pond equipment.

Install new lighting circuit in shed & garage.

Well at least by having an adapter in the batten holder its stopped the light bulb burning a hole through the plywood

argh no i only completed that a month ago :^O jeez what do people expect when they only want to pay peanuts! :^O

It really does amaze me, there are not more deaths, fires or damage when you see this type of "installation" all I can think is that electricity is intrinsically safe and all these regulations are a waste of time!!

Even the guy who cut through the electrical cable and blew some of his skull off exposing part of his brain survived and the circuit wasn't RCD protected!!
