Hi

Due to the company I worked for over the last 15 years moving everything oversees you guest it, China, I found myself being made redundant earlier this year.

As a time severed electro / mechanical engineer, with an ONC in engineering I decided to retrain as an electrician.

The idea of having a highly transferable skill after working within a specialised business is very appealing. I'm not going to put all my eggs into 1 basket again.

Hence, now I am due to finish my city & guilds 2365 level 3 at the end of may and the time has come for me to try and find someone to work along side, so I can achieve my NVQ level 3.

As someone who has worked for many years technically with their hands and has experience of working on European construction sites, I know what's expected.

I fully understand that any arrangement would probably be on a add hoc, job by job, self employed basis, I supply all my own equipment / van and test gear, which is absolutely fine.

Therefore if there is anyone within the Newbury area that is interested in having some help, that would be great please PM me

It would be great if I could work along side someone, I gain valuable practical experience and they get the help they need, therefore both of us benefit.

Cheers

PM me your number & if anything comes up I can give you a call, you could also try the likes of P.A.D electrical & Astranet both are the larger of the small electrical companies in the local area or drop into Eyre & Elliston down Faraday Rd & ask if they know who is after an extra set of hands (they sometimes have peoples details who are looking for employment stuck to the counter) .............I could have done with a hand on Sunday to shorten the day installing  2x induction loops, something different to the normal stuff.

I should have posted this last week you could have got me out of painting the garden furniture

The induction loops, sounds far more interesting.

Thanks for the information, I'll give them both a try you never know.

It looks like I need to post 10 times before I can PM you, all ready up to 3 with this post, so only 7 more to go.

It shouldn't take long
