if the BG your refering to is British General I'd advise not to use them to be honest!

I've installed a couple within the last couple of months for customers on tight budgets but they are C R A P!

The earth and Neutral bars strip very easily when you tighten the screws because they're not tapped properly and the screws are just say in there on a couple of threads, took me ages to fit them as I had to start re-tapping all the holes with a stainless steel bolt before I used the brass ones!

For a budget board, go for a CHnT, they are well made and pretty durable but sometimes the casings twist if they aren't sitting perfectly flush when fixing.

yeah, crabtree and wylex are great but OP asked for best deals on 10 way boards and the aforementioned are at least another third dearer than the budget boards.

edmundsons 59+vat for wylex 10way with 8mcbs of your choice.

I dont use the cheaper boards.

Unless the customer tries to lower my price

Thats much the same as I stated about these boards in my post in the review section of the forum . I've installed 3 or 4 now and all but the last one had this problem & the terminals on the mcb's dont take to much before de-threading..........

Indeed

Half the battle is primming the customer of a realistic expected price before you quote...

I normally show them a screwfix book and a

I picked up one of those MK boards myself at the weekend. Value for money and room for a bit of profit there too.
Indeed..

I picked up one today for a Job on Thursday!

It is surprising how many customers know names like... "MK" and "Crabtree"

and do associate them with Quality!?

The mcb's and rcd's are easy to come by for these boards.

i fitted one of those cheaper MK boards, the hinge for the cover broke off. The whole cover is really cheapo plastic, not like usual Logic boards. Apart from that there exactly the same arn't they? same rcd's/mcb's?

Is a good price for MK
