Been to look at a job today and the customer wants downlighters in the kitchen, dining area and lounge. They are looking at LED's and want the ones in the lounge and dining area to be dimmable ? I have only fitted GU10 fittings, so any advice on the best fittings that can be dimmable for example 12v or 230v would be greatly appreciated... :D

The truely dimmible led ?????

gu10 leds off a low voltage dimmer (same as the ones used on cpf) = not enough control at the bottom end.

the best way I've found is using pwm dimmer on the 12v dc side using mr16 lamp

Really nice action and very smooth
