Steptoe - that post is very inflammatory, and I think you have missed a few crucial points. Andy and Admin are suggesting that if you drink sufficiently the night before that you are still over the drink drive limit in the morning, you remain unfit to drive. Not that any alcohol renders you unfit.

A single pint will impare concentration and reactions.

watchdog,

I appreciate your comments,

but as you are singleing me out for generalisation comments,

then perhaps you should also single out other comments for generalisation as well

I have NOT made a comment that is not in regard to another general comment before

where in either of the posts you mention is an amount specified.?

I am not getting into a slanging match with you Steptoe, thread closed.

Thanks to Badger for attempting to lighten the tone.

i know its been closed but just wanted to link this

http://www.salford.gov.uk/rs-drink-drive.htm

i belive its 1 hour per unit an hour after you stop drinking

dont take my word for it though.

i dont drink and drive its not worth it.

dont want to start another debate, so maybe close the thread? (up to the mods)
