Bored with Zorin OS, the Ubuntu derivative. So like Windows it might as well be. Plus I'm just bored.

So.....I was thinking to rebuild the lappy as a Linux/Android dual boot. Yes I KNOW Android is Linux derived!

So I'm going for Trenta OS which is another Ubuntu derivative (supposedly Mac looking) and Remix OS so I can play with Android.

I know if you do a Windows/Linux dual boot you're supposed to install Windows first.

Guessing Trenta OS first followed by Remix.....or would it matter?

Just thought it would be different!

Cheers

The reason you need to install Windoze first is that it likes to take over the whole disc, it will simply overwrite any other loader on the disc, no matter where it might be, and will only put a Windoze loader on,

I don't think it will matter with what you are doing,

If grub does disappear, you can use a live cd/dvd to repair it, you can also do this if you put Windoze on after a Linux install.

ps:

I'd put Android on first,

Then let Trenta sort out grub for you when you put it on.

pps: I'm sure you meant MAC is a Trenta lookalike :slap
