Looking at the images of the heater on the website/internet, I would say so yes. There doesn't appear to be any obvious external buttons and the manual makes no mention of it (but it does say several times do not cover, do not dry clothes on it etc)!

Thanks for your advance everyone, however after switching it off at the wall for a while , turnung the output to zero and reseting the hot water button. Then switching back on and turning the output back to 5 it's back working again this morning.
