Egaweld - Conduit Sealant

What do people use when fitting weatherproof sockets using PVC conduit? MK recommend Egaseal to seal the conduit entries, but clearly no-one uses it as it isn't stocked anywhere.

So what do people use - or don't they bother?

dont bother - just make sure there is a drain hole at bottom, and have wires so any water that does enter along cable goes to a low point and drops off

failing that, solvent cement - plumbers use it all the time

Any pvc joint glue will do, its just that MK's glue is mega expensive.
