Is this a trend against NICEIC ?

I was just wondering because more people appear to be joining elesca as first choice then napit as second.

The NICEIC are very good at supporting new applicants and will give loads of free advise to those who wish to join. They are strict because the logo is an industry standard, but they do not discriminate, forget all the horror stories if you are good enough for napit or elesca your good enough for the NICEIC.( I hope).

I have to say that the inspector compaired to nic was much much much beter, helpfull and less out to make you feel like a fool.

I chose ELECSA for a few reasons. I did fancy the NICEIC initially until I started hearing stories about how they seemed more about taking money off people now than helping them. These maybe isolated incidents but it only takes a few bad kids to make the whole class bad. ELECSA on the other hand only seem to have had good things said about them.

ELECSA were also less expensive to join than NICEIC and have also just been awarded UKAS Accreditation (the first domestic installers scheme to achive this AIUI).

They were the main reasons I chose ELECSA.
