Hi,

I have Diplomat ADP 4610 - electric oven and hob. The oven has stopped heating the grill is working fine and the oven fan and light come on with no problems. I have re-checked the timer and it is working fine. The oven light indictaor comes on as well, not sure what is the problem?

Thanks,

Arvind

They have a nasty habit of using those push-on female terminals for the wire connections on domestic stove/oven elements. I've seen a few of these that have burned and fallen off.

You need to make sure the appliance is not live before you go rummaging inside it, if you're unsure how to do this please get professional assistance.

As said Above ,   its not a disaster by the sound of it but could be as Marvo says ,  one of those spade type  connectors or  as Andy says , the element has gone , elements are mostly standard types.

I 'd suggest getting someone in .   Shouldnt be a big expense,  elements are not dear.

Hi,

Thanks for all the responses. The oven is fixed now - it was the element as the original one was damaged.
