Hi Folks,

I'm rather hopeless when it comes to electrical stuff therefore i would seek for any of you experts out there with some help.

A machine with : 440V,47.5A, 60Hz

is to be plugged into

power source with : 440V,32A,60Hz

Is it even possible folks?

Regards,

Hopeless Electrician

NO

If the machine draws 47.5A and you plug it into a socket rated at only 32A, then the fuse or circuit breaker protecting the socket will trip.

He's in Singapore!

Think they must have there own version of 7671? I remember my friend telling me they have 3 pin sockets. Surely they can't be plagued with 5ww's over there, they are so strict about such things?

Hasn't slipper been out there too??

:)
