I have been meaning to put together an A4 page of formulas and Equations etc, to make it easier for when I revise for my exams.

But, I have gone futher and done a whole webpage (took quite some time too) so that EVERYONE can benefit from it.

I hope you like it. :)

The words below are what's contained in that webpage:

ohms law, Resistance (Rho), Resistivity, Mass, Weight, Torque, Work (done), Power, Coulumb, Efficiency, Area, Magnetic Flux Density, Induced emf (e.m.f), Transformer Ratios

I have now added a "Printable version", Guys. I am too good to you aye.

:D

Thank You. :x

You missed the builders triangle. My brother in law swears by it.

One corner the word CHEAP

Another corner the word GOOD and QUICK in the other corner

ie you can have a cheap quick job but it wont be very good

He is a one man band, so to get extra men in will cost extra and working mad hours and weekends will also cost and quality suffers if time is priority.

Good page mate, at a brill time too. I started writing a program for my phone to have all these on and do the calculations for you. Didn't know what stuff to put on it, now I have a list ;)

er hum.. tut, tut Admin!

you forgot this one...

'Average No. of posts before thread drifts' = ((Sm x Np) / BCf) x SCf x (1/TCf).

where:-

[sm] - Subject mater- (graded 1..10, where 1=boring 10=interesting)

[Np] - Number of posters

i.e. standard formula 'Average No. of posts before thread drifts' = Sm x Np

but then you need to include the correction factors':-

[bCf] Beer correction factor = Np/average quantity of beer consumed by each posterGuiness DrinkGuiness Drink

[sCf] Spirits correction factor = average alcohol volume% per poster.:pBlushing

[TCf] Time correction factor = number of hours past midnight! :z :z

I believe this can be verified on Post #19 on this thread...

Very nice page.

Unfortunately, you may want to look at the Force and Resistance parts, because the explanation of the quantities used does not correlate with the equations and also the Tranformer Ratios part needs looking at.

Hope this helps.

I have been thumbing through my old notes with all these equations and it's still good to jog your memory on a few things .Guiness Drink

Eh? They are from my college notes. Do elaborate. :D

Thanks Specs, That has been corrected, Sir. :D

Took me bloody ages to do all that. :_|
And it really is lovely. I just don't have immediate need for it!

Wish I'd had it when I did my physics A level

Heck I'll 'scoob' you for your efforts ;)

Happy?

In that case - I will call off the Don's boys, who - incidently, were on their way around to your place. :D
