Hi

I was hoping someone might know if it's possible to wire a vitrum switch into silent gliss electric curtains?

I've finally found the cicuit diagrams, which I'm hoping will be enough information for someone with more electrical knowledge then I? I can't quite tell.

Here are the 2 silent gliss curtains that I might look at getting

Silent gliss 5090

Silent gliss 5200

Unfortunately I can't post the links which include the specifications!! But maybe someone knows if it's possible otherwise?)

I want to find out before getting the switches, could anyone help me understand if either of these can be wired in? (Ideally it would be the cheaper 5090 model).

Thanks anyone !

Jay

Thanks :)

Yes that is the silent gliss model, and there is a specific vitrum switch used for electric shutters/curtains (eg Vitrum II BS Shutter). Silent gliss only gave me a diagram of what looks like the motor/switch connections, and suggest I talk to Vitrum, but Vitrum are a small company and it doesn't look like the have anyone technical there who could answer. So I'm a bit stumped on whether I should go out and buy them.

Hi Paul

Apologies for the late reply.

I decided to go down the route of using Forest curtain tracks.  They are z-wave enabled out of the box, and I'm quite glad I did this (for my setup).  Once they were installed I was able to immediately pair with my controller and off I went - so I didn't have to do anything fancy to wire it into any separate switches other then what came with it.

Thanks for your offer though.

J
