Went to elex 2011 at Ricoh centre Coventry. I enjoyed the show and picked up a few bargains. Anyone else went today? Picked up a few freebies mostly pens and mugs. All in all an enjoyable day.

I'm going tomorrow - how far from the main entrance is the super rod stand?

From the main entrance turn left then turn right at the citreon stand and walk down. you cant miss it mate. I bought a couple of bits for my kit today. You'll get some special offers no doubt. The bacon roll was good. The NICEIC have a big stand there and I saw Tony Cable giving a presentation on surge protection.

you'll need to run mate, got some last year and 2 blokes were nearly fighting for them . in the end both were 26th and 27th so neither got them. defo worth

No mate. I remember watching the clip on you tube when he saw what happened to a small C/U after a simulated lightning strike . He didn't half jump!

Yep, went today, but it took 2 blxxding hours to get there as some idiots decided to have a smashing time near spaghetti junction on the M6. So I didnt get there until 10am and then another 15 mins trying to find a car park space!

Tony Cable's talk was ok, but I got a lot more information from the guy on the Dehne stand who are manufacturers of SPD's.

Got regs book AMD1 and OSG for

Well nobody said hello to me!I was there both days you mean spiteful bunch you!

Well, if i'd had known you were there, then i definately would have said hello, perhaps admin could have arrange to have a stall there next year so us forumites can meet up.

Quite!

There were one or 2 others I know from elsewhere too, but, I anyone else had said they were going on open forum then perhaps it would have been possible to say hello!...
