Hi

I qualified in 2011 Level 2 and 3 and are looking to do part P and test and inspection this year, but i am having a problem finding

electrical work to get the practical on-site skills i need.

I need some guidance on the best way I should processed with looking for work.

I am 40 and have worked as a carpenter for 15 years and are in North London (just a background fill in)

Cheers

Welcome to the forum. Can I just ask what were the employment opportunities you had seen before you started your electrical training and what electrical work were you doing at this stage? I can't imagine why a mature student would start doing any course without first researching what benefit it would be to them, or how easy it would be to use their new knowledge and qualifications. I cannot offer you any magic solutions to finding work. but as always, with every job search, 95%+ of the time it is who you know not what you know!
