has anybody ever used this unit before help needed on how to wire them

I am in the process of installing a large amount of dimmable 600x600 LED light fittings controlled by the Ex Or lighting control units. If this is what you are asking about I can comment :-

* Each controller requires (according to manufacturer) its own dedicated supply from the distribution board.

* Individual light fittings can be plugged into the Ex Or ... alternatively switched feeds can be plugged into each channel via an adaprtable box.

* Each light fitting requires an extra low voltage supply from the Ex Or ... this connects to the blue and white core on the driver.... so if wiring switched feeds as stated above then the ELV cable needs to loop across each fitting in that bank.

* The fittings are connected to the Ex Or via a 230V/ SELV plug.

* The movement sensors are connected to the Ex Or via a factory made RJ45 lead.

* SELV switched are also connected to the Ex Or using cat 5

* A dimming card is required to slot into the Ex Or

* Commissioning via a computer program on a laptop !

personally I'm not keen on the system, it's a lot of hassle and expensive but I suppose if it reduces energy bills it might one day ..... maybe in about 2032 AD, pay for itself.
