Fan for shower.

Can anyone advise an extractor fan unit that can actually be put in the shower stall?

I was called to a job with a burnt out fan tripping the circuit. Anyway the fan is a mains model in the shower stall, zone one. O) The client does not fancy trunking over ceiling to a low voltage transformer placed outside zones, so is there a complete unit with the transformer built in and OK for zone one.

nothing to stop a mains fan in zone 1 providing its IPx4, and manufacturers instructions state it can go there

It is the first time I have come across a main actually in the shower stall.

As Andy says , just check the IP rating .

But if there is a burnt out fan already there can you not fit a 12v and use the mains wiring for the 12v supply .
