Hi

My equipment is:-

12 x MEPV 120 HALF-CUT 375 PANELS - 4.5KW
LUXPOWER HYBRID 3.6KW INVERTER
4 X UHOME LFP2400 - 9.6KW

We are on just a standard tariff so no cheap electric at night.

My equipment was installed about 2 years ago and I have been noticing things on the luxpower website/app that feels wrong. I am seeing an increase in more import to user than consumption. An example. Solar production = 0.9kwh. Consumption = 14.5kwh. Import to user 14.8kwh. I tried an experiment yesterday. I started a quick charge of the batteries to 100%. So after yesterday and right now this is what I got. Solar production = 3.4kwh. Consumption = 19.2kwh. Import to user 20.8kwh. By my maths I am missing 5kwh? I understand that there is a loss due to converting dc/ac etc but this doesn't seem right. This is the sort of trend I have been seeing. In other words its costing me money.

Any ideas what this could be?

Many Thanks

Dave

you can import due to the battery doing self maintenance, especially if in a cold location like a garage, and of course the weather is crap, so generation will be down. I would check the amp clamp on your meter tails hasn't been knocked, and what mode setting your system is on ie self consumption, UPS function etc etc.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. With regards to the ct clamp... it can't be attached to the left side of the meter (meter has 4 tales going into it) as there is no room between meter and cutout so it is on the right side of meter with arrow away from meter.

I don't know what mode it is in?

Thanks
