Maybe I have lost my googling skills?

Or I am just missing the bleeding obvious when reading search results..
( External influences could relate to:- 🍺🍻🍻🍺🍻 )

Anyway... what I thought would be a simple quick, search, surf, and select, via the interweb..
Is turning out to be a hunt for hen's teeth and unicorn pooh!!!

So.. "The Quest".. Light Switch Finger Plates..
such as this CPC beastie..
https://cpc.farnell.com/pro-elec/pe...ight-switch/dp/PL10027?st=switch finger plate

But.. needs to be big enough for a double gang socket sized switch..
NOT just the everyday single gang sized switch? (which are easy to find!)

I've found a few on E-Bay & Amazon.. but they seem stupidly expensive when compared to the cost of the single gang versions..?

e.g. £6 or £7 for 1x double sized plate -vs- £1.84 for a pack of 2 single gang sized plates!!!!

Any assistance / help / direction / website links .. etc..
Very much appreciated!

Sir, you are an ***** 😉😂
Got them at my local,DIY shop at about £3/ 2
Got two last week to cure a mis measuring incident occasioned by my plumber
Don't screwies and tool station do them?

It is indeed an honour to be called an ***** by such a well esteemed forumbulator colleague... ;)(y)🍻
[ lets hope your post is not deleted for using the "I" word?? ]

But alas.. my googlings did not result in any positive search results at Screwbits or Trollstation..???

Or that big DIY shed with orange aprons starting with 'B'...

That other DIY shed.... with a more green logo theme starting with 'H' do have them, listed..

BUT the nearest Base-of-home outlet is not a local short trip for me!!!!!!!!!!

:(

I've seen most of the Amazon & Ebay links...

They just seem a tad expensive when you can by a light switch for less than a bit of plastic to go round it!.

Plenty of places have the single gang plates at less than a pound each...
BUT don't do 2-gang / double socket sized plates ??!

When I asked in my local Denmans, they don't stock any at all single or double!

Production costs and the quantity produced during the production run can make a lot of things look disproportionately expensive when you start doing comparisons. I would guess that many many times more switches are produced than the finger plates to go round them so it is reflected in the price

I know little of these things as I am more of a fluffy cuddly innocent kitten sort of a person. However I believe such specialist adult niche sites exist for providing light nocturnal relief
