Fire Alarm Repeater panel (rafiki) - Cable to Main Panel

Hello all.....

Does any one know if this system requires a single 2core and earth fire rted cable to connect it the main panel ??

As I do know some system require more cores?

According to this it requires 5 cores but then says 1 core per zone so not sure.

I generally buy through channel safety systems and if not sure about anything ring there technical who are very helpful.

How can it be 5 core if there are 8 zones and one core per zone lol?

Funny how no one on here has any thoughts of havnt fitted one before. I have fitted a few of these befor but never a repeater panel to go with one

I have only ever done straight systems no repeater panels either.

As far as I am aware with rafiki u run all zones back to the. Main panel and just one cable fro

There to the reapeter panel. I have looked at some connection and only has a 2 core input not 5 or more so il let u no what they say

Up date.... Just spoke to rafiki a 11 core cable is needed for the repeater panel.

7 core for a 2 zone

11 for a 8 zone
