On the last contract I was on the boss said fit rcbos to all socket circuits and put upstairs lights on an rcbo to omit supplementary bonding in the bathroom. But what about the cooker circuit, heating etc he wasnt bothered about these were on 60898s are these ok like that.Fair enough if you have got a dual rcd board

Supplementary equipotential bonding has been omitted because the
following have been complied with:
• the premises have protective equipotential bonding (Regulation
411.3.1.2) and you've proved continuity through testing.
• the disconnection times have been complied with (Regulation 411.3.1.2)
• all circuits in the location have been provided with 30mA RCD protection
(Regulation 701.411.3.3) only the circuits within the 'special location'
• all extraneous conductive parts of the location are effectively connected
to the protective equipotential bonding (Regulation 411.3.1.2). again must be proven through testing
If the three conditions of Regulation 701.415.2 are met – supplementary
bonding is not required in locations containing a bath and shower".

Some people think it can be omitted just because there's MEB and RCD's/RCBO's feeding the final circuits within that location. The above has to be met. If it does then supplementary can be omitted.

Also,as Steve has asked, what are you meant to be doing? Remedials on ECIRS?

I take it cooker circuits dont need rcbos or rcd protection this would be a code 3 yes?

It depends how the cables have been run. Are the cables mechanically protected or buried deeper than 50mm? If not then, yes, a code 3. Cooker circuits don't merit RCD protection on then own if the cables are buried deeper than 50mm or mechanically protected unless the cooker point has socket as well.
